FAQ

  • 🤔 How do I know if this course is right for me?

If you think you need it, it's probably a good idea. We designed the course with folks like us in mind - people who are new business development pros, but don't have a deep understanding of the FCDO and how they operate. We have also heard from some folks who were familiar with DFID but haven't touched FCDO proposals that it's a great refresh on what has happened in recent years post FCO+DFID merger.

  • 🤷 Is the course entirely self-paced?

Yes! This means that if you're in the middle of a bid, you don't have to worry about missing out. Participants have access to all of the course materials for a full YEAR after registration, so you can also revisit the material when you need it. You'll also get a discount to re-enroll when we do our annual refresh!

  • 🫰 How much does the course cost?

In pursuit of accessibility, we created a tiered pricing structure based on the annual revenue of your organization: $425 if you handle $5m or more a year, $360 if you fall under that bar. We also have financial aid and scholarships available for those who qualify. Simply email [email protected] if you think you might qualify.

  • 😕 What if I have more questions about FCDO after the course?

Don't worry - our instructors also hang out in the Clubhouse community, where anyone can post a question anytime. Sue Dean will also be offering some special one-on-one sessions only for those who complete the course, where you can go deeper on your organization's concerns.

  • 👯 Can I enroll my whole team?

YES. And we encourage it! Enrolling your whole team helps establish a baseline understanding of what FCDO is all about, making it easier to engage when opportunities arise. Email [email protected] to access a special discount code for bulk registration.

To purchase the course on someone's behalf, simply check the "this is a gift" box at checkout and add their enrollment information.
